Private Training

Training Sessions Information

  • Sessions are 1 hour
     
  • Your first session will be all about information gathering, observation, assessment and developing a rough draft plan for you and your dog(s).
     
  • Training packages include ALL the dogs in your household (no additional charge for multiple dog households)
     
  • All members of your family are welcome to attend training even the kiddos! 
     
  • Meet & Greet must be paid in full online when appointment is made. Credit card convenience charge will be waived for this booking.
     
  • Payment plans are available for packages. Half the payment is to be paid at the 1st session and the second half of the payment is to be paid at the 3rd session.
     
  • Owners are encouraged to attend trainings. We know that life happens and you may not always be able to stay for training so you also have the option to drop your dog off for their (1) one hour training.
     
  • Weekly sessions are recommended. Bi-weekly sessions are good too however, anything longer than that in between sessions can negatively affect the learning curve for both humans and dogs. 
     
  • Private training sessions include activities that WE as a team (trainer & owner) decide would be beneficial for you and your dog(s). These can include (but not limited to) obedience, behavior modification, confidence building (especially for anxious dogs), AKC CGC/Trick Dog evaluations and awarding of titles, beginner agility, AKC Rally, scentwork, etc).
     
  • Therapy Dog, Emotional Support Dog & Service Dog training and assessment programs are available to those who qualify.

Floor Rental - $40/visit 

  • Floor Ti​me Rental is available by appointment.
  • You have the whole Muttz Gym Training floor to yourself for 1 hour to work with your dog(s).
  •  Please note that the trainer is not available for consultations during this time. Please consider scheduling a private training session if you need one on one instruction.
  • Certain equipment is available for use.
  • Payment must be made at time of booking via online credit card. Credit card convenience charge waived for this booking.
